The Six Devotions: for grief, love, childhood, speech, soul, and dream

The Six Devotions is a group of six ceramic reliquaries for things that cannot be preserved: the broken heart, the vanished child, love-torn tears, the last word, the immaculate soul, and dreams half-remembered. They borrow the authority of the reliquary, but not its confidence. These are not containers for holy things. They are gestures around what a life cannot keep.
